›Is this password generator safe?
Yes. Passwords are created by your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (Web Crypto API). Nothing is sent to a server or stored.
›How long should my password be?
We recommend at least 16 characters with lowercase and uppercase letters, digits and symbols. For passwords you don't need to remember, use 24 or more.
›What does “avoid similar characters” do?
It leaves out characters that are easy to confuse, such as I, l, 1, O and 0 – handy when you'll type the password by hand.
